A study done by Ryerson researchers on recent Latin-American immigrants in Toronto  is alarming; 56% of this population lacks food for their basic needs causing stress and bad nutrition.
The Brazilian gold olympic medalist swimmer César Cielo came to Canada and carried the Olympic Flame through New Brunswick’s Bay of Fundy, home of the biggest tide on the world.
MPB singer Gal Costa sang at Massey Hall, she gave an interview and spoke about Tropicalia, her love for music, and Bossa Nova.

Barzinho Paulista, at night in São Paulo | Panorama 13 | PanTV Barzinho paulista literally means “small bar of São Paulo”, but the actual definition of this expression is much different. What does it actually mean?

We went out in São Paulo to find that answer by talking to Brazilians and Canadians at “Bar e Boteco Praça” in the trendy neighbourhood of Vila Madalena, in a way to paint a picture of bars and São Paulo at night.

A Brazilian weekend, H1N1 vaccines , Gal Costa at Massey Hall | 7News 0 | PanTV On the weekend of September 7th, 7News watched Brazilians had their special celebrations in Toronto. Two open festivals, one film festival and an art exhibition, a human wave wearing yellow jerseys painted Toronto streets. 7News has also info about the H1N1 vaccines, the swine flu, which will be applied to school-age children soon, Toronto waits for Ontario’s signal to start the vaccination on this group. Gal Costa, an icon of Brazilan popular music, will be playing in Toronto on November 15 at Massey Hall, Alan from Samba Toronto brought her show to Toronto and tells you about it.
